Easter news: The Stations of the Cross, The Easter bonnet parade and the raffle in aid of Trocaire.

On Tuesday 22nd March the pupils and staff welcomed many parents and grandparents into the school to watch the performance of The Stations of the Cross, beautifully performed by pupils from Primary 2 -7. This was followed by the Easter bonnet parade, where every child  wore a bonnet decorated at home with their parents. Our very popular Easter raffle in aid of TROCAIRE raised the grand total of £165 for the charity. Many thanks to the PTA for supplying the Easter eggs for the raffle. Thank you also  to Siobhan Donaghy for her generous donation of the biscuits and cakes for the tea, Marie Meenagh for her generous donation of chocolate bars and eggs for the pupils and to Rebecca, Siobhan and Margaret for making the tea and coffee.

And finally we also said goodbye to our care taker John Mooney, who looked after the school excellently for the past ten years. On behalf of all of the pupils, staff, parents and Board of Governors we wish John a very enjoyable retirement.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy and Holy Easter. School reopens on Monday 4th April 2016. We look forward to our school trip to The Strule Arts Centre in association with the Foyle Film Festival on 5th April. Code Club and other clubs begin from Monday 11th April. We look forward to a very busy three months from April to June 2016.
