A fabulous First Holy Communion service was held in Corpus Christi Church, Mountfield for our year four pupils in Miss Mc Glinchey's class. The very personalised mass was said by Fr Stephen Kearney. Congratulations to Hannah, Carla , Neamh, Ethan, Brona and Aoibheann, who celebrated and enjoyed their very special day with their school friends and families. The St. Brigid's choir were accompanied by Mrs Nuala Sweeny and the singing was delightful throughout the mass. Each of the communicants read and sang.
Refreshments were served afterwards in the school hall by the PTA and members of staff. A big thank you to everyone in the PTA, especially Dana, Siobhan and Mary, the pupils, all members of staff, parents, the Board of Governors, Fr Kearney and Mrs Sweeney and all those in the community, who contributed in any way at all to ensure the children had a day to remember
