This afternoon the children all got a chance to see and hear about various birds of prey. John and Michael explained to us about the differences between the various bird, anatomy, qualities and characteristics, the basics of falconry, how we train birds of prey, flight patterns, food and nourishment, conservation and falconry for humane pest control. The visit also forms part of the KS2 Topic - Up, Up and Away!
