This week we celebrated Friendship week. We had our wonderful Paths Pals lead assembly each morning where they shared this week's theme, Choose Respect. The children discussed what a friend was and how to show respect to all. We also talked through some scenarios that may cause friction in a friendship and looked at strategies to overcome these.
The year 5-7 also joined the 2024 Anti-Bullying Megathon Extravaganz by Hip Psychology.
The workshop provided awareness and understanding of what constitutes as bullying behaviour and the impact that false accusations of bullying can have. We thoroughly enjoyed it and were delighted to make it on to the leaderboard at the end of the session.
