We had a really enjoyable 'Green Day' today Wednesdsay 15th March to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Children experienced some irish traditions through singing, playing the tin whistle and Irish Dancing. Following our morning of entertainment, we separated into groups and completed research on each province in Ireland. Each group focused on the counties, rivers, places of interest and/or places they may have visited before.
The whole school have also been over the term been learning, phrases, colours, numbers and prayers in Irish.
