WAU Day
We had a busy and exciting day today, as the whole school emersed itself in World Around Us (STEM). Each class conducted experiments and investigations across the many areas of Science and STEM. P1/2 looked for minibeasts and their habitat and experimented with exploding energy. P3/4/5 looked at the effects of chromatography and constructed pens for Spring lambs, while P6/7 explored floating by designing and building viking ships to carrying people and cargo and finished off their day with the 'Yeast Burb Monster,' by observing the reactions of yeast with other substances. Lots of skills were also developed, teamwork, co-operation, leadership, delegation, turn taking and many more!
