Throughout the course of the week the children participated in a variety of literacy based activities to promote the profile of reading. Across the school the children took part in a selection of fun and interactive activities.

- Year 7 pupils read stories to the children of St Brigid's Playgroup
- Joined Sinead Campbell from the Art and Design Factory online for some Art Activities, with some beautiful art creations of the Hungry Caterpillar and The Secret Garden
- Completed a range of science through stories activities - Jack and The Beanstalk, The Gingerbread Man and Anything's Possible
- Listen to and responded to stories on the C2K Newsdesk
- ReadingEggs/Express online update - getting the eggs into the basket
- Designing book covers for Declan Carville's collaborative cluster writing story - All Aboard!!!... For a trip to the Ulster American Folk Park
- CORE NI - World Book Day Workout
- And finally a quiz that required a few tie breaker questions!
We had a memorable week filled with art, fun and not forgetting reading!
